- Oahu – Lanikai Beach – ½ mile crescent of white sand; very scenic; can see the twin islands offshore and there is also a reef offshore; calm waters and lined with coconut trees; turquoise waters; lots of swimsuit photo shoots there.
- Oahu – North Shore – 10 miles long and home to six of the best surfing sites in the world; space totals 8 beaches – Waimea Bay is bigger in the summer and smaller in the winter because of current; really big waves; Pipeline – the best surfing spot and where the world surfing championships are held.
- Big Island – Punalu’u – a black sand beach on the eastern end of the Big Island; lots of wildlife, mainly sea turtles; lots of folks with fishing nets
- Maui – Hookipa Beach – 35 miles SE of Lahaina; powder soft sand; famous for wind surfing – windy
- Maui – Lahaina Beach – west coast of Maui; most romantic area; home of the Old Lahaina Luau
- Kauai – Poipu Beach – on the south shore of Kauai; public beach; quiet, waterfalls; golden sand and calm ocean; perfect for snorkeling and swimming; great for kids as the water doesn’t get above 3 ft; wide variety of fish, picnic tables and showers.
- Big Island – Kauna’oa Beach – private beach at the Mauna Kea Resort; has the best golf in Hawaii as it is a mountains and ocean course; NW coast of Big Island
- Maui – Kaanapali Beach – ½ m of crescent shaped beach; Sheraton offers a beach butler; Spa Moana is at the Hyatt Regency Maui – offers oceanfront massage and the Lomi massage which is done with the forearms and is very spiritual.
- Big Island – Honaunau Bay – “Place of Refuge” not much beach, jus smooth rock from Kilhuea; clear water and over 100 species of fish; perfect snorkeling spot
- Oahu – Waikiki Beach – 2 miles of beach’ great people watching; beginner surfing.
