Cruises vs. Cruisetours PDF Print E-mail

A great Alaska adventure can be had on both our cruise-only itineraries and on our many cruisetour itineraries. Both options offer spectacular views of Alaska: cruise-only itineraries focus on glaciers and frontier ports; cruisetours combine cruising itineraries with days of touring the vast inland wilderness of Alaska and the Yukon. The advantage of choosing a cruisetour is that you get a greater variety of Alaska attractions; a cruisetour is the only way to see Glacier Bay and Denali National Parks, the Yukon and the Arctic. Additionally, most cruisetours include the personal services of a tour director.

Check out both the cruises and cruisetour portions of our web site for more information and contact us to work with you to choose the right Alaskan vacation for you!

Should I Purchase Travel Insurance? PDF Print E-mail

Probably the most confusing portion of travel planning is deciding if you should purchase travel insurance. Thinking about all of the situations that might occur before or during your trip It is imperative that you protect your investment with some sort of coverage, so you do not lose your money or the enjoyment of a wonderful vacation.

All vacation travel companies have some sort of cancellation penalties if you are forced to cancel after the final payment, varying between 30-75 days before you leave. As you can imagine, lots can happen with you or your family within that 4-10 week period; illness, death, or emergency change of plans to mention a few. How sad, to have fully paid for not only the trip but airline tickets and other pre-paid arrangements and then lose it all!
